Ok, I believe that my knock sensor it bas , well 95% anyways, So do this hurt performance. I was reading a while back And I think it take off 20 or so HP, Is that right? Also if the sensor is bad because of a short from water the light would stay on all the time but if it was throwing the code because of header noise or something lie that it would go off after a while, is that correct? Thats is what im leaded to believe when I read about it on other gm sites. If in fact it was a bad sensor, can I turn it off with ls1 edit and gain back the HP till I get a new sensor and intake?
