I have a magnaa charger s/c on my 01 5.3. as part of the kit, it comes with a pre programed Superchips programmer, to correct the ecu. I piggy back the superchips programming with a Hypertech HPP3. I select to increase the shift firmness on the hypertech. I took it for a testride, and now the truck doesnt know what gear to gointo, or @ WOT it revs to the rev limiter befor it shifts. I removed the HPP3, then the Superchipsprgrammer, and the truck stayed like that with no programming. My friend is a GM tech, and we scanned the Pcm, and it keep coming up with a U code for lost communication with PCM. We tried to clear the PCM, and no luck. The rest of the techs recommend that I just replace the PCM . In there opinion, they think I corrupted the PCM, so does Superchip along with the Supershits programer. What do I do. Anyone se this happen before.
