PCM code P0404...help So I went to Autozone today to get my comp scanned for free and they came up with the code...
P0404
Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit
Range/Performance
Anyone know what this means and what I need to do to fix it?
They weren't sure what the problem was. I know you guys will know.
Could it be a fuel filter, o2 sensor?

Re: PCM code P0404...help Helms manual says it's caused by the difference between the desired EGR valve position and actual position being more than 20%. Stores the record in the freeze frame and if the condition exists the next ignition cycle then the MIL light comes on. If you have no MIL light then it's probably no big deal, IMO.
