Code P0301. Has got me confused?
Anyone have this problem before? I am going to change the coil to see if that helps.
Any ideas?
Thanks Jason
Good luck. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

<strong>I recently had a P0302 code, swapped plug, wire, coil pack, and injector. Ended up being a broken exhaust spring. Just hope it's one of the easy fixes. How does the plug looked compared to the one next to it? My #2 was black compared to others.
Good luck</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Was your code on all the time? Mine will come on then go off. Pretty strange. I changed all the plugs and wires. They were all normal. I also swapped the number 1 and 2 coils. Just to see if it was the coil. Nope still misfire on number 1.
When I got the code I put a-tap on it. It said at the time of the code my A/F was 14.7:1. I took a couple of screen shots. Could I email them to you. Maybe you can check them out for me?
Both the misfires happened at 1100 rpm and 2400 rpm?
Thanks Jason

How does the car run? I was down on power, and it idled rough as well. You could tell something was wrong.
Try swapping injectors, if that doesn't fix it I sure the valve cover will have to come off, I don't know what else external it could be.

<strong>I would not get the code until 2k rpms either, the code never showed up at idle, however it did throw the p0300 at idle. Since it was fixed I get no misfire codes at all.

All looked normal. The car doesn't seem to be down on power. When I got the code I looked at the read out it gave. It said my injector pulse rate for that cylinder was lower the #2. Not much lower.
I took a couple of screen shots of the readout.

<strong>I would swap the injector, also you can check the injector with a voltmeter to see if it is in spec with the rest, if I remember mine were all at 12. I think the range is large 6-16 if I remember correctly.</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yep, we swapped the injectors. Now I record over 65 misfires in #1 cylinder. Maybe bent pushrod? Or valve spring?
