Default Need help on PCM replacement decision

I have had numerous PCM's installed in my car. Two thru dealers, one reprogrammed by TTS, Five thru Ed Wright (mostly due to parts changes), and one replaced October 01 (also having backup made at that time). I have been told that the backup now has an issue with the rev limiter not operating properly, and the unit put in, in October of last year has gone bad. Here in lies my question....all the units available thru GM are Remanufactured, NOT new. Should I have one of my 2 existing units re-flashed to stock, then re-programmed using LS-1 Edit, or just buy a "Remanufactured" unit, then having it flashed to stock, and then using LS-1 Edit have the necessary changes made ? I really need some good advice here guys, please help, quickly !! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

If it were me, I would purchase ls1 edit and get your pcm reflashed by carputing. It sounds really weird that your computers are failing. That's uncommon.
