Hypertech Power Programer 3? is it worth it?

Hypertech Power Programer 3? is it worth it? After doin a search about the HPP.. it seems this program is nothin but problems?? do u even get n e increase in power?? or is it basicly a rev limiter and speed limiter eliminater?? i was concidering this product.. but maybe i should save that $500 and get some headers..??

It allows you to set the fans, rev limiter, shift points, shift firmness, gear changes & tire changes, remove the speed limiter and the power tuning, it not a bad product, I like it personally because it's really simple to use. BTW, they are $349 NOT $500!
