Default Dealer Reflash...

I called the dealership that is 2 minutes from Thunder Racing and asked what they would charge to get rid of you know whos tuning and put ls1edit on and they told me just a hour of labor. $75 bucks.. Not bad to get the good stuff..

That's not a bad price Vince. I just contacted ValveGod and am going to buy another PCM from him so that I'll have one that's not locked by you-know-who. Then if I screw something up with the Edit, I can put the locked PCM back in.

Does "you know who" know it is illegal to lock PCM's. If that is the case I am going to have a huge problem with Ed. Hasn't anyone told him not to lock it?

Vince,

Thanks for the info. I have "you know who's" tuning and I know I can still get more out of the car with dyno tuning. I was thinking of driving down to Baton Rouge and having Thunder redo it. I was wondering if there was a GM dealer close to them so I could go get it flashed and get back to Thunder before it started running funky. Do you know what Paul charges for a complete dyno tune? TIA,

Mark
