Default Idle and tuning

My ide was raised after my cam install to help it idle until tuned. After it was tuned it idles at 1100 now.Can I lower the idle back down with the screw on the TB or will that mess up my tune?Car is an M6 and I did try to search.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

i can mess up your idle/part throttle if you mess with it too much. If your tuner put it at 1100 it was probably for a reason. Also keep in mind the stock tach can be off by 100-200 rpms at idle...were you using a scanner to verify this rpm? What mods do you have that commanded such a high idle?

Mods are all bolt ons and an F13 cam.I would like to get the idle back around 900.The tuner raised it to 1100 after the initial tune due to surging problems.

if it had surging problems & that helped fix it dont you think you'd have surging problems again if you lowered the idle back down?
