Default Please help with these autotap #'s after an edit!!!

Well...after throwing a bunch of blinking SES lights and a couple solid ones that would stay on for a couple drive cycles I finally autotaped the car. The code was lean B1 02. My L-Trims were maxed out at 25% at idle and went no lower than 21% at WOT. my 02's read an averaged .88 on my Left Bank 1 and .94 on my right bank. So I pulled out the edit to help this out a bit. I know editing based on Autotap isn't reccomended, but I just wanted to get it running better for now. I'll be going to a dyno with a wide band next weekend. I messed around with the MAF table a bit and here is the result. L-Trims 15% at idle (both are equal) 0.00% at WOT!!!. I hope that's good. My 02's are pretty lean though. Left Bank averaged .84 and my right .87 at WOT. Is this too lean to drive on? I am not throwing an SES light now. My current mods are:

563/563 224/224 112 comp cam
FLP longtube headers
Ported MAF
a bunch of other boltons and free mods

1st, do you have any idea what got your ltrims to that point in the 1st place? Are you sure that there isn't a problem that you're covering up?

Also, I personally wouldn't want to adjust for that much change with the maf table. I'd use the injector scaling table to get close and then the maf table to fine tune it. This is just my opinion though.

As for O2 readings at WOT, I shoot for .87 - .88 with no KR.

AFTER TUNING:

Well...after I did the cam/headers swap on the car I went to the track. On my passes which weren't that good, I autotaped it. My 02's were .98-.99 all around, so I put ported MAF ends on it. It leaned me out a bit, but it was still rich. That is all I've done. The Ltrims have been this way since. I will try putting stock MAF ends on the car and see what that does. I'm hoping that will richen me a bit. How about my Ltrims though. Is it ok they are 0.00 at WOT? I heard I should try getting them at 0.00 at idle as well.

Try putting a stock/de-screened MAF on the car and scaling your MAF table by 104%. Then drive your car around and monitor your l-trim values. You need to get them down to slighly negative numbers. Only after that would I worry about WOT. Since your l-trims are so high you should make sure you have no exhaust leaks and that your o2's are in proper working order.

I'm going to the dyno for a wideband tuning session early next week. I'll set everything back to stock, and put a descreened stock maf on to see how it looks. I checked for leaks and it looks fine. I switch my 02's around and nothing changed so I think they are fine. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Thanks to you all for the advice, I really appreciate it. This is quite a learning expieriance for me so I'll help out whenever I can by keeping you guys updated on things that worked and didn't on Tang <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
