LS1 edit... who has it

LS1 edit... who has it okay, I've read every post in this section for the past couple of weeks and if there is one thing I've learned...
I need to get LS1 edit. I was planning on just getting A-tap, but it seems it can only point you in the direction of what might be wrong.
I already dropped the $2500 on the laptop.
I think LS1 edit may be overkill for what I need... I'm not doing heads and cam, and it looks like I could/would probably mess up more than I fix. I just wanted to read codes and sensors, but it would be nice to not have to buy things like an MAFT and such.

Which vendors carry LS1 edit.
Question #2:
Where can read more about the program and less about people's problems??

Re: LS1 edit... who has it Ls1edit would be great for you. Why????? 'cause you don't NEED it and have time to learn a lot about it before you do NEED it. Its great for fuel tuning after you do any mods...like say a ported maf. You can adjust your computer for different size tires or gear. Maybe you dont want emissions stuff like egr or a.i.r. .....can delete that stuff along with codes.

Re: LS1 edit... who has it You realy need atap and ls1edit. Without atap your just kind of shootin in the blind. Ls1edit does not monitor. Gotta have atap or something similar to monitor. Once you get some log files and see whats going on hten you can make changes via lsqedit.

If you can wait till the 1st July only 4 and bit weeks away, you can use EFILive V5 to read all you diagnostic codes and problem your car might be having.
