Okay my rev limiter is set at 6500rpm and my shift points are at 0,0, and 0. I see that most people use +2,+2-3, and 0. But since I have 3.73's ,what shift points should I set them at? How aobut when I get a converter?

Yeah I might be able to give u a little advice.Someone I race with has 3.73 gears on a 99' TA A4 with the HPP3.He has his shift points set at -1,-2,and -3.But he also has LS6 intake,MTI B1 cam,WS6 hood and box, hypertech pulleys,75 shot NOS,160 stat, and a 12 bolt main. The last time I ran it down the track I got a 12.8.Hope it helps!

You ran a 12.8 in his car? Is that with or without the NOS? 12.8 seems slow for a cammed LS1 without nitrous.

Umm, with it set like that he's probably shifting into 4th before the end of the quarter, and shifting way early in 1st and 2nd unless he's backing the shifts off because of the N2O/rev limiter...
I have mine set to +3, +3, +6. This keeps me shifting at 6k on 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, and pulling at the top of third gear until around 104-105 mph, which is right where I trap.
You can play around with the shift points, but I would think optimal settings would be achieved by setting the shift points to keep just under the limiter and then holding 3rd gear into the traps... With 4.10's I don't think you have a choice but to shift to 4th gear in an A4 running the 1/4 mile - unless you rev the bejeezus out of it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
JMHO.
