Does Ls1 edit use the same cable as Autotap?

Does Ls1 edit use the same cable as Autotap? I want to get LS1 edit, and I was wondering if the cable for autotap is the same. I figured that it is but thought that I'd ask to make sure.
Next question is: Can I get LS1 edit without the cable if they use the same cable? Also who would I contact to get LS1 edit. I think that it's time. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Oh yea...www.carputing.com is the only place to get ls1edit.

ATap cable communicates a/the PCM on the slower Diagnostic bus.... the LS1 Edit cable communicates on the faster bus (I believe it's 4x faster).
Plus LS1 Edit somehow writes information to the cable (via the software), the atap cable wouldn't have the same circuitry so wouldn't work.
