Where to set Rev Limiter and Shift Light?????

Where to set Rev Limiter and Shift Light????? This weekend am getting T1 cam, long tube headers/ory-pipe, LS6 intake, and springs/retainers/pushrods installed. I currently have my rev limiter at 6200 and shift light at 5500. I know I need to bump both of them up but to where? Any Ideas on how I would be able to judge this?

Re: Where to set Rev Limiter and Shift Light????? If your saying you have Z06 heads, they can rev limit to 6,600 RPMs very safely.
Keep in mind the tac lags behind the PCM by 200-400 RPMs so if you have a good shift light that uses LEDs instead of a bulb ( which takes longer to come on) setting it to 6,200 would be really close to just under the 6600.

Re: Where to set Rev Limiter and Shift Light????? No I have stock LS1 heads. Just wanted to know where I should reset them to or how I could judge where to set them? I thought with these new mods I would rev to higher RPM's. Actually my shift light is at 5000 but by the time the light comes on and I shift I am at 5500.
