Ls1 Edit and Hpp3 HELP!!!!
Ls1 Edit and Hpp3 HELP!!!! Well i uninstalled the Hpp3 i thought and then did the Ls1 edit at a friends house. Then I go to sell the Hpp3 today and the Hpp3 will not take the new vin. It still has my vin in it.
SO what to do?
Can i put the Hpp3 into my car right now and change it back to stock without messing up the Ls1 Edit programing and the PCM.
PLEASE HELP!

Re: Ls1 Edit and Hpp3 HELP!!!! I know you must first put the HPP3 back to stock before it can work. I would think it would mess the LS1 edit programming after you did that too. Not sure though. Probably would only screw up what it has to change back to stock. If you left the shift points alone then they should be fine.

Re: Ls1 Edit and Hpp3 HELP!!!! Do you still have a copy of the original program before you made the changes with LS1 Edit? Your HPP3 programing will still be in there. Just reinstall it and then remove the HPP3 program and make a new copy of your stock program.

Re: Ls1 Edit and Hpp3 HELP!!!! You can uninstall the HPP, but you must use LS1-edit after the uninstall to reload your file back into your PCM. The HPP will overwrite what you loaded into the PCM. You actually might want to read it after the HPP unload, and befroe you reflash with LS1-edit. That should be a copy of your stock PCM.
