help, i am geting slower my truck is geting slower, could raising my shift points slow down my truck, i pushed them up to 5600 from about 5200. so far this year i have swaped out the 5.3 for a 6.0, pullied back up to 6psi, yank3000, 41lb injectors, lsi edit(delete TM, raise shift points, adjust for injectors, rev limiter) also checked my ltrims and they are good.
all that and my truck is only 4/10's quicker than it was with just the whipple. could it be that a 6.0 doesn't like to rev? or a whipple doesn't like to rev? or that the factory 5.3 exhaust is choking the motor that much that rasing the shift points is slowing me down? i hope it is the exhaust, what do you guys think, tomorrow i am going to lower my shift points back down and give that a try.

Re: help, i am geting slower If you have a stock exhaust, that is a major bottleneck. An electric cutout (or regular cutout if just for track use) would probably help a lot.
How's your FP and A/F over 5200? Is your Intake temp rising?
