What does the group think about the Ease diagniostic setup with the palm pilot?
It is recordable but does'nt read powertrain DTC's.
How ofter is there a powertrain code when you're only doing tuning on engine components?
Thanks

If your doing performance tuning you also want to look at other functions that are not required by EPA such as injector pulse width.
A generic OBD-II scanner like the PDA model would not show you many of the other GM functions.
You also cannot use the data logger function and replay the recordings via a desktop.
PDA model will allows you to see what EPA requires, more from smog related and not from a total query of all GM functions.
I have 3 different models of Ease scanners and I do not have the PSA version for I liked the pocket PC version better since I can export and analyze Ease data via Excal on the pocket PC or data log it to my desktop version and replay there.
