Scan Tool info? Autotap? LS1Edit?
Also does LS1Edit work with other ODB2 applications?
I plan to start modifying a friends 2002 M6. Also I have a Supercharged 3800 Park Avenue that I wouldn't mind tweaking a little. I'm pretty familar with altering GM code for older cars (Buick Grand National). I'd like to get more into LS1's though.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I hear ya when it comes to not holding my breath waiting. Does LS1Edit use hard code manipulation or is it pretty straight forward menus and stuff?
I'm not intimidated by Hard Code and if I can just find away to pull the program, modify it then flash it back I could at least get started.
As far as Autotap goes I could use it for a few vehicles, the Park Ave, a friends 02 SS, and my dad's C4 LT1.
thanks again.

LS1_Edit only works on the listed applications on their web page at http://www.carputing.com - 97-02 LS1 variants (including the F-body, Y-body, and pick-em-up truck variants). It is not designed to work on the 3800 series motor's PCM, so you'd be out of luck there, and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. The cable is custom built for Carputing and the communications routines (between the laptop and the cable) are proprietary (meaning they won't tell you anything about them).
HTH,
Andrew
