Default Knock sensor codes Po327 and Po332 ?

I have been chasing a problem with my knock sensors for about a month now. I have been getting a SES light for both kbock sensors saying Knock Sensor 1 (low voltage or input), Knock sensor 1 (bank1 or sensor 1) as well as Knock sensor 2 saying the same thing. I have checked the sensors and replaced them as well as replacing the harness under the intake. I have followed the test cycle steps in the Helms manual and the sensors seem to be working fine. I have talked to Ed Wright to see if anything in the programming could cause this problem and he doesn't seem to think so. The guy that works with him said it sounds like a bad connection because it happens at random times while I am driving. I agree with this but I don't know what else to check or replace. Dealer will not work on it because of my mods.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks.

I have been in the same boat as you with my 99TA. It threw a code about 2 months ago, stating the knock sensor was reading low. I made a post and didn't get any feedback. ( I guess no one had the info.) I don't have as many mods as you do yet. I think I will give the dealer a try and see what they say. If I get any news I will let you know.

Thanks for the reply. I have taken it to the dealer and they won't even look at it because of my mods. I even offered to pay and they said no.

It just threw the code again today. I am going to take it down the street to a mechanic and let him look at it.

Later

Jim

LEt me know if you get this figured out.I'm going through the same thing!Only the P0327 code tho,for the front sensor.Replaced them both and still getting the same code at random. Here's my problem,I have NEVER gotton that code before ed wright did my programming. The day I got my PCM back, I drove it up the road and had it pulling that code ever since.I think i'm going to be giving ed a call soon.If you figure it out, please let me know though.Or email me PLEASE.This is starting to be a headache !!

Peace

I am sending my pcm back to Ed on Monday to let him check it out. I started getting this code right after he programmed it. This was the second time he had programmed it. All I changed on the second programming was the idle and I had him raise the converter lock up mph to 44-45mph due to some shuddering I was experiencing. I had a mechanic check the car yesterday and they said it is something in the pcm. They said that the pcm wasn't showing any signal from the knock sensors, however the harness that plugs into the pcm picked up the signal from the sensors. We ran every check in the Helms manual and it keeps leading us to replacing the pcm or reprogramming.

I will let you know what Ed says.

Take it easy.
