Default Should I wait to mess with the VE????

I installed my new engine, with a new cam and now my idle AFR is slighlty rich 13.5:1. I was about to just adjust the VE at idle to lean it out some, but I still need to do the entire the VE tuning anyway. Would it be easier to adjust the idle AFR now, or just wait until I do the whole thing? Confused.

i don't see a problem here frankly. it's not like tuning VE is hard, and the methodology is the same, you just have to drive for some more throttle inputes/pressures.

I don't understand either - the VE is the first thing you should tune anyway - the idle gets done by default as you tune the rest of the table. What are you waiting for?
