strange 02 SS M6 problem

strange 02 SS M6 problem Hi,
My in-laws have an 02 SS 6 speed, when shifting
from 1st to 2nd, it is impossible to be smooth.
The car has a bad heistation from first to second?
I was under the impression that M6s didn't have
torque management, could this be????
I know damn well if we take it to a dealer they
won't think anything is wrong.
The car has under 3k miles on it and they know
how to drive stick.
any thoughts????

Re: strange 02 SS M6 problem Are you talking about wide open throttle or taking it easy?
If so, like mentioned above, you could be getting the skip shift and going to 4th gear instead of second and probably wouldn't know the difference if you were not paying attention.
