Service Vehicle?? Ok guys, my buddy just put some 18in C6 wheels on his 02 Z28. Tonight was his first long road trip with these wheels and he said the car had a orange Service Vehicle light on, I have never heard of this light or any problems associated with it...anybody got any ideas???
The "SERVICE VEHICLE SOON" light is not the same as the "CHECK ENGINE" light but I;m not exactly sure what it is referring to. I've been told it has to do with things other than the engine like lights so I guess it could also be monitioring the wheel speed sensors? Not much help but mine did come on once and I found a burnt out fog light, maybe check all his lights, Let me know if you have any luck.

IF the front tires and the back tire sizes are too far apart in inches, Then the abs wheel sensors will report a front and rear value that will be too far apart on the pulse per mile so it will triger the service vehicle soon light thinking that there is a problem
