Default quick answer and insight appreciated.

I made a post a week or so ago about CODE P1416 (Secondary Air Injector (AIR) system Bank 2) and didnt get much or a respnse. I really dont want the hassel of going to the dealer if i dont have to AND I DOOO NOT WANT DAMAGE. I got this code after about 150 mile or so with the FLPs. So QUESTION: reset the PCM as a way of "denial", of bring it in to avoid ANY kind of damage.

Did you do the restrictor mod for AIR check valves when you put the headers on?

From what I gather from the Helms manual (but you should check it out yourself):
When the AIR pump turns on, the pcm monitors the Bank 2, Sensor 1 O2.
Conditions for setting the DTC:
If the O2 voltage does not go below 222mV for 0.9 seconds when the AIR pump turns on.
OR
The short term fuel trim doesn't change more than a predetermined value when the AIR pump turns on.

The pcm illuminates the MIL indicator on the second ignition cycle that the diagnostic runs and fails.

I don't see how it could be causing any damage to anything, judgement call on your part.
