Default BV performance tuning@ Speed INC?

Anyone have dyno tuning at Speed Inc by BV Performance? if so how did it go on your Ls1? is it worth it?

Just FYI, we are doing our own tuning at Speed Inc now.

We've seen some good power increases on cam and/or heads cars.

If you're looking for a specific number, I would say I've found an average of 20hp/20ftlbs. Some more, some less. It mostly depends on how far off your a/f ratio is to begin with.

Aside from any power gains, we can also get rid of any check engine lights caused by a large cam, deleted egr or cats, etc. Get rid of cags on 6-speed cars, and remove torque management/change shift points on automatic cars, and other things.

I would say it's definitely worth it, but of course my opinion is biased

If I came in there to dyno and had my own LS1 Edit, would you help me tune it or am I on my own?

I just met INTMD8 (Jim) last Wednesday night. He is one of the nicest guys I’ve met, just like Tom & Larry. He seems very knowledgeable and VERY capable. He tuned one of our RPM cars that night and pulled an extra 18rwhp out of it in n/a form. I plan to go back soon to make some minor changes like I discussed with Jim...

Don’t even waste your time with BV, it’s crap IMO. Sure, BV's seen some good results, but the guy is a joke when it comes to customer service. INTMD8, on the other hand, couldn’t possibly be a nicer guy

well, i'll just give you the benifit of the doubt and assume that you've done some biz with Brian over at BV. in my experience with him, he's an excellent guy and stands behind his work. i guess it just it's not the same for everyone. oh well,

We’ve tried to do business with him...even when we had a one month advance appointment, we got canceled the afternoon of the appointment. Back when he was Zap PCM he did a better job, IMO. He tuned one of our LT1s under Zap and did great. He seems to have gone downhill as BV though.

I have also known other people that he’s blown off for no reason.

I’m sure he’s done good for some people, just not RPM.
