Default Quick Question

Hey guys, got the asa cam in my 98 a4 with a fuddle 3400 2.2. The car pulls hard and everything seems pretty good. It does have some surging issues at low rpm's and the car dies when its cold and you put it in gear. I have been told these symptoms are due to the verter being too tight. What do you guys think? I completey trust my tuner, just thought I would ask. Also where should a cam this size be idling? Its a 226 236 on a 110. Thanks guys!
