Detonation ? Need some feed back please. Have an sts turbo kit w/ front mount intercooler upgraded fuel sytem with 30#injectors. Started with 475whp@6.5psi. Had some problems with car not running right didn't feel the power took back to shop and owner told me that the tuning must have changed(bulls--t) but I played along and told him to check it out anyway. Called me back and said the boost controller was messed up and that it was way down on power 380whp but he retuned and replaced the boost controller and its making 420whp@6.5psi at safe tune(?). Car made 350whp before the turbo, not happy with #'s went to MTI to dyno. First pull 402whp, second pull halfway through something broke. Heads came off #7 piston broke dew to detonation. What do you guys think caused this? thanks in advanced.----- 02camaro ss 6m mac-headers w/ory, loudmouth exh. asp pulley and free mods before turbo 350whp w/stocktune.
