LS1 edit....SAve file?

I have edit on the way...I have read the manual....but How do you save your stock(current) file before tuning. the manual says nothing onhow to do it ..just says do it first!!

when they email you the software it will have instructions on how to read your computer... its something like this...
1. hook up your laptop and cable to your car
2. turn ignition on
3.go to start up menu and click 'tune it up'
4. click ls1 prog
5.click read pcm
6. the you must name the file and click save
7.click action and it will start to download your stock program
thats it...make sure you follow all the warnings about disabling screen savers and such. let me know if you have any more questions.
