Default LS1 Edit And MAFT

Hey All,

This is my first post here. I see lots of familiar names from ls1.com. Since it took me so long to get here, I must have a higher tolerance for BS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> .

Anyway, I'm waiting for my copy of LS1 Edit to arrive, but in the meantime, I was wondering if my MAFT should be zeroed-out when I do my initial download? Will my initial pcm read (which I will backup) reflect the MAFT settings?

Also, how can I tranfer my MAFT settings (+15 Base/-6 WOT) permanently into my pcm with LS1 Edit?

Hey Tony, I still think your sig looks gay <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . Just kiddin' <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> . I'll never forget the day you guys hammered me over at ls1.com.

the maft settings wont affect your download. I think to make permanent changes to a/f you have to modify the PE vs. RPM table

Thanks PSJ, I'm gonna take this real slow, and only make changes when I'm 100% sure what I'm doing. The first thing to do, though, is plug my SLP LS6 intake, and take out the egr and A.I.R. systems. I'm hoping it will be pretty simple to at least remove those codes. I'm sure I'll have lots more questions. The LS1 Edit mailing list is a good resource too, as you guys must know I'm sure: http://www.ls1edit.com/mailman/listinfo/ls1edit
