DTC & Spark Advance Question

DTC & Spark Advance Question I have a DTC showing for EGR because of the removal of the EGR pump with the Non EGR LS6 Intake.
My question is that if I do not reset the PCM and leave the DTC registering, does this affect the Spark/Fuel Curve, or should I not worry about the DTC until LS1 Edit arrives, and richen/lean out the car with my MAFT?
Once LS1 Edit arrives, I'm removing the low EGR voltage code.

Re: DTC & Spark Advance Question I thought that any DTC that trips the SES light, richens the car up. I can honestly say that it does effect the LTrims if I reset the DTC's.
I guess a better way of asking my question is that when the car has the SES light on (running rich), does the computer run from a backup table for timing advance and fuel curve, as opposed to when the car is running with no DTC's (SES light)?
