Why no SES light?
I started my car after an install, and there was no SES, good thing. I soon realized it sounded like i had a cam, so i turned it off, checked a few spark plug wires for being on there, and at least one popped on. I started it again and it sounded better, but i couldn't tell if it sounds like all 8 firing. Shouldn't i be getting the SES thrown if a cylinder isn't firing? I can't really test drive it as i have a vacuum problem, so i wouldn't be sure if it was the lack of a cylinder firing. How can i tell if all 8 are going without A-tap? And why am i/did i not get the SES when i KNOW not all were firing.
