Default question about PO1133

I have gotten this code a few times. I scanned the car, and cleared it about 6months ago from this problem. Now i started my car up the other day, and the same code came up again. About 6 months difference in time. What could cause this intermitent problem?

btw, i have the vette 02 sensors.

and one last question, is this 1133 the driver's side or passanger side?

thanks

1133 is the driver's side. 1153 is the passenger side. Both of these I believe refer to the pre-cat O2 sensor. It means that your driver's side O2 is sensing the car is running lean, or the car is switching back and forth between rich and lean too often. Have you recently installed headers or taken off the cats? There could be a small exhaust leak also...or, you O2 has gone bad or not getting enough voltage/power. I just took out the cats and my car is throwing the 1153. I feel your frustration though...btw, is your car running rough?? If you've driving it for 1000 miles or so and there is no change in performance, (power or MPG's), you can always just delete it to turn the codes off...BUT ONLY IF YOUR CAR IS RUNNING WELL!!!

like i said, it has only done this twice in 6 months, no changes to the car. It seems like an intermitten (sp?) problem, and i just want to know what would cause this?
