need assistance with engine problem Today has not been a good day. First my car's SES light came on, stayed on steady went out then came back on flashing, and it started missing. Ok, I borrow a scanner from Autozone and number 7 cylinder is misfiring. Not a big deal I can replace the plugs, wires and if that's not it the dealer replaces the coil pack.
As Im leaving autozone the check gauges light comes on and the temp gauge is pegged at 260degrees. I stop shut the engine off and restart and it still stays on. I limp home sensing that it's electrical, and it is but it's going back and forth between 210 and 260 all the wya home. Engine is not any hotter than normal, so WTF is going on with my car?
I just took the HPP tuning off and put back to stock last week. Other than the HPP it doesnt really have any other mods except exhaust system, airlid, and a differnet MAF.
Has anyone else had this happen?
