Tapping and Editing to Tune LTRIMS, quick question
Right now, with it averaging -8%, that would be showing Rich right? If that is the case when it goes to WOT there will be no extra fuel added to the mixture so it shouldn't be overrich. If my WOT is reading .90/.89s on the O2's then is there really any benefit to my 1/4 mile running to spend more time bringing the cruise ltrims up closer to zero when they are already on the negative side?
Base - controls your Ltrims - (minus will lean; plus will richen)
WOT - controls your O2 # which are good at WOT only - minus=lean; plus=rich
If you are running rich at partial or idle try moving your base 'button'. WOT same for the WOT button.
Your WOT looks good. Your Ltims could be leaned out a little.
One of the biggest topics use to be the reading of the LTrims. To my knowledge no one can say what is the best for your car. Mine runs great at +15-+20 Ltrims reading. Leaner=meaner <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Try a setting, A-tap it. Run it. There is no quick setting. Weather will change your setting also.
Good Luck, hope this helps a little.
