EGR and AIR
EGR and AIR I just got LS1 Edit, and have been looking through it. So far it looks like a great program and lets you do just about everything you could want.
However, I was wondering what exactly do the EGR and the AIR pump do?? I'm not really clear on either one of these and would like to get some more info before I disable them.

Re: EGR and AIR The EGR recirculates exhaust gas back to the intake to be reburned.
The AIR runs on start up for about 45 seconds. It injects fresh air in to the exhaust to help light the cats quicker.
