Okay here is the scoop.
TNT Conversion, stock injectors, stock heads and cam with an M6. Descreened stock MAF. My buddy just bought a new MAFT, and wants to know what his base setting should be. The mode thing is already giving me fits. Should I turn on switch 3 to ON or switch 4 to ON? He doesnt have LS1 edit, and mine wont work on his car. What should we set this thing at? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
How the hell do we set the timing for nitrous? My dry system does it automatically! This thing doesnt have any way to retard timing 2 degrees!

All 4 little dip swithes should be in off position. You only turn switch 4 on IF the AF is 85 mm and that switch allows that MAF to allow better idle.
As what MAFT is set to can only be answered by what a PCM scanner recording shows the AFR is for part throttle and WOT over a average of a good drive.

John is on the mark.
No one can tell you what to set your MAFT to. Get an ATap. Make a base run. Move Base one notch. Make an ATap run. Continue until you get your settings. Than do the WOT switch.
Than wait until the weather changes and than you get to do it all again. After a while you'll know you car, weather and the settings that will make it go fast. -- Track testing is always best - if you go faster you're moving in the right direction.
They say Ltrims should be about 0 reading; 02s should be .88-.91. Mine runs better with Ltrims at +15 and 02's in the high .88-.89 . Lean=mean.
