Failed IM240
But I was so close. The max ppm on hc's is .600 and I got 1.0. Mods are in sig. I'm running cats too so I figured it would pass. Anybody know any tricks that would clean it up a little bit?

What part of the test did you fail?
At idle?
The following basic things can help.
Fresh oil change and make sure the car is hot. If you have a 160 stat switch back to the factory stat for the emissions test. Make sure the car is warmed up before going for the test. Make sure the air check valves aren't leaking, I know of someone that reduced their ppm a good bit by fixing their leaking air check valves. Fresh plugs wouldn't hurt.
They also sell emission pass additives at most auto parts stores. Might want to check on that too.
The T1 with it's 112 LSA may be a little harder to get to pass without a MAFT or adjusting the tuning. I'd call Ed Wright and see if he had any insights.

Re: Failed IM240
Thanks alot for the pointers man. It failed mainly during acceleration. It is due for an oil change, and that's a good idea putting the stock stat back in. I might bump the idle up a hair too. I tried that emissions pass stuff and it didn't do ****. I also sent the computer back to Ed Wright and had him lean it out a little. I should be right around 12.7-12.9:1 aiur/fuel ratio. I'm gonna give it another shot Tuesday so I'll post the results.

Re: Failed IM240
I got my T-1 camed car with FLP headers and cats to passhere in Texas. I raised the idle up via the screw on the throttle body to about 1000 rpms at idle and added some RXP additive that I got at O`Reillys auto parts store. My car finaly passed after I did this. Good luck!
