Default Question about running lc1 wideband all the time...

I tried the search but I don't think its working....

Anyways, I have my LC-1 hardwired into the car, one output is being used to simulate a narrowband (because I replaced one of the 2 front O2's with it), and the second output goes to a dynotune gauge. My question, when you start up the car, does the wideband need any sort of warm-up time?

I ask because I sear I've read something like that bafore, but I couldn't find anything in the instructions, and I don't want to kill the sensor. I think I remember reading somewhere where someone said that you should turn the ignition on but not start the car for X seconds, while the sensor warms up, can anyone shed some light on that for me? Thanks!

a few seconds is fine but not extended periods, especially in the winter condensation forms in the exhaust and if that water hits a fully warmed up sensor it will damage it

It has a 10 second warmup. Did you install the LED and calibration switch with it?

Yea I did, but the way I wired it, the LED and calibration switch are under the center console, out of view. Does the LED tell you when its ready? I can always move the LED so its in view.

So 10 seconds and then start the car?

Turo, how does the wideband to narrowband emulation look? Is it pretty convincing? I worry that replacing only one sensor would throw things off between the two banks.
