Going by the Tach(i realize not that acurrate, but check out whats up) my shift points are now about 5700 from 1-2 at around 34mph and 6050 from 2-3. Why is the 1-2 shift so much lower now and the 2-3 shift almost what it says it is? I was using the programmer at +6 for the 1-2 shift before and it said 6895rpm shift point(which is crazy cause my rev limiter is at 6600) and it shifted around 6400 on the Tach rpm. Anybody have any ideas? If i raise the 1-2 shift by 200 rpms do i need to raise the mph as well or what? Ragtop....if you read this, what does your table look like or anyone else with 3:73's? Need some light on this subject please. <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> Thanks, James.
1-2 is +3mph (1 mph with 3.23 gears and stock tires = 129rpm in 1st gear).
2-3 is +1mph (1 mph with 3.23 gears and stock tires = 69rpm in 2nd gear).
I had to raise both the shift RPM and MPH in order to move my shift points.
3.73 1-2 = 149 rpm per mph
3.73 2-3 = 79rpm per mph
