IAC Count Clarification: In gear or out?

Mark,
It's in gear warm to show what's happening under load. That 30 - 35 range is the sweet spot but if you get to 35 - 50, I'd drive it for a week or so to let the PCM fully learn before trying to drill again. I went a 1/64 larger than I needed with the heads and cam setup. So I would see it dip to below 19 and some times get to single digits. The primary concern is that the IAC pintle may become stuck from operating fully closed with a 0 count.
In my case, the fix was to put the 422 in to raise the IAC again.

Thanks Rick, that's what I was looking for!
I hear you will no longer need to worry about closed loop "tuning" issues!

Yep, Greg and the gang set her up for open loop while trying to clean up a electrical "Dohhhhh!" I made. There's a top secret agent from Watertucky way that's been helping out too. Need to make sure I get them all out for a beer.
They are going to add a bit more fuel this week and get her up for a dyno run. That will leave the back ordered mounts for the rear sway bar and I'm off to visit McCormak Racing for wheels and tires based on your previous recommendations.

Gessshhh... Sounds like you could have used Maltby, Drapier and Mccarty from the grind line to help you out.
I like the look of the Weld Pro Stars too, but just can't see doing the grinding spacer routine for the wider wheels this year. I'm still a season away on the role cage for now.
