HPP3 only? Hey guys.
I am about to install my 160 thermostat, and I heard the easiest way of making the stock fans turn on at 160 is to use HPP3. Is there any other method?
While on the subject of HPP3, is it any good? recommended? I heard I shouldn't buy used HPP3s, because it could have other people's maps on it?

Re: HPP3 only? it's ok to buy a used hpp3, assuming its in sound condition. a hpp3 can only be used on one car at a time. it stores your stock information and replaces it with hypertech's "tuning". i used one when i installed my 160* thermo and haven't had any problems, though i only used it to change fan settings, not advance timing,etc. a manual fan switch is another option...
