For starters, it looks like you are lean. Your LTerms exhist in the +15 range reaching as high as 22%. This is almost maxed (LTerms peg out at +25% in an attempt to richen up your mixture)
Secondly, you have some very serious timing issues up top. For the couple WOT runs that you did (on your closed race-coarse <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> ), your ignition timing maxed at 11, while your knock retard was over 5 through the sprint.
I realize that it was a hot day when you were doing your testing, but even with that high of intake temps, you have a lot of knock retard. This is killing your top-end power.
It is my opinion that your problems go hand-in-hand. Your car is running too lean, which is causing the knock retart up top.
My advice would be to get a MAFT or LS1 Edit and try to bring your LTerms down to around -2. Or put that thing on a wideband dyno and tune it.

he just bolted up a whipple with a 6.0 pully onto his 4.8, it is running 11lbs of boost!!!! he is running 93octane gas and the weather is toping out near 100deg. he would like to know if there is some way to tune(extra rich or pull timing) to make this combo work. from my research there is no way to make this work by tuning, either much less boost or maybe some really good gas, like the $4/gal type. i also believe he is doing damage to his engine since the KR is going a full 8deg and staying there.
help me out here, help me convince Will to pull some boost, or am i wrong is there some way to make this work.
