Default LS1 Edit shift points and rev limiter

I just had 3.73's installed.

i put in the 3.73's in the edit and then also tried to raise the rev limiter and shift points.

i raised the limiter to 6800 and put the shift points at
1-2 43 6400
2-3 79 6400

at wot it didnt shift at mph or 6400. i hit about 6600, im not sure if it even hit 6800 when it shut down.

is there something else i need to change to make my shift points and rev limiter work?

thanks

It will shift when both parameters are met. RPM/MPH

Lower your mph down to 0, then all you have to do is change the RPM setting.

I think....lol

Probably will find out myself tonight.

Default Re: LS1 Edit shift points and rev limiter

Here is my setup.

1-2 shift (normal, hot, performance, and shift speed tables at 100% TPS): 42mph
2-3 shift (same as above): 82mph
3-4 shift (same as above): 130mph

1-2 shift rpm: 6000
2-3 shift rpm: 6000
3-4 shift rpm: 5900

I have 3.23 gears and stock sized tires

Here is what all this gets me:

1-2 shift is at 6400rpm
2-3 shift is at 6300rpm
3-4 shift (have not tried that with new tuning yet!)

Now, that rpm value will change if I hit it from a roll. I get a 6200rpm shift if I get a downshift to first below 25mph, and I get a 6000rpm 1-2 shift if I hit it from above a 25mph roll and get a downshift to first. Also, if I have wheel spin that will destroy my 1-2 shift and bring it much lower.

One day I might try messing with the rpms to bring my “from a roll” rpm up a bit, but otherwise they are fine set at stock rpms with me just changing the mph values.

I worked with a file today, the program did something weard. I did not change any of the shift mph but i decided just to change shift rpm. I read the users manual and it said it starts the shift when both rpm and mph are met. So I set Rpm's to 1-2 6700, 2-3 6600, and 3-4 6600. I hit apply changes button and I got a message pop up the the Intergrater does not add up or match, value will be set to zero. I hit ok. and then went back and looked again at all the values to see if any had changed. It all look the same. so I decided not to try it till someone could tell me what happen.

thanks

That is odd. Anyone else experience anything like that, or know why that would have happened?
