Default Tuning costing me ET!!!!

It's been a few months since I've even driven my car since the rear went, but I think i want to tackle this problem while i'm down too. when racing, every time down the track i guess i'm hitting the rev limiter going in to my last shift(car is auto). the real problem is that it really hesitates and sputters up there and seems to take an eternity to make the shift. i think it might be costing me as much as 3 to 5 tenths. what to do???????? any help is greatly appreciated. :-)

I have the same problem. 1/8mile track and it's bouncing the limiter 100-150ft before the line.

I just got edit. Moved my shift mph down to 0 and left my shift rpm the same. Moved my rev limiter to 6300 on 2-3 shift.

Only got 4 test runs on the street. Bounced limiter(just a quick stutter) 1 time out of 4.

Going to the track Saturday, will let you know how it works out.

PS. Paul from Thunder Racing had this problem too. I asked him how he fixed it. He said he bought an FLP Lvl 4. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

I didn't have my atap with me. (I loaned it out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> )

I fixed mine by raising the rev limiter to 6300 and by increasing the 2-3 shift MPH by 4. Shifts perfectly now. As for ET it probably wouldn't effect you any but your MPH would be less hitting the limiter. My times were as fast after the change but I got another 1 MPH...
