Can I install a 2002 A4 PCM in 2000 A4
Can I install a 2002 A4 PCM in 2000 A4 Obviously the 2002 does not have EGR which I have eliminated anyway. Are the PCM's and pinouts the same except for the 2002 lacking the pinouts for EGR? Are there any other differences meanin pinouts or anything else I may be forgetting about?
IFR tables will be different because 00s use 26.8 lb injectors and 02s use 28.8 lb. There will be some differences in other tables as well, probably VE and maybe others. Nothing that can't be changed with tuning software. 99-02 PCM pinouts are all the same.
Thanks, I really appreciate the help, I have installed a LS6 intake and the larger injectors (tuned for it, EFIlive flashscan), just wasn't sure if the 02 PCM would be looking for different sensors for different pinout locations, I've tried to do similiar things with older GM cars and it was a nightmare (late 80's early 90's), because year to year the harness had considerable differences.
