Default Which version of AutoTap is the best?

After all the new versions and fixes becoming available, which is the best version to run? Currently I have the V1 hardware, but I have four different software versions. I have the Dos version, Windows version 1.11, Windows Version 1.12, and Windows version 2.02 (the fixed version of 2.0). I'm still using the Dos version for my logging, but do any of the other versions offer better logging rates?

Thanks for any help.

Default Re: Which version of AutoTap is the best?

i just updated to the new 2.0 autotap
the thing that makes 2.0 for windows different from 1.0 for windows is the hardware and what i mean by that, is the fact that the (cable) hardware is what makes the logging faster in version 2.0 i can check DTC codes in 1sec.

i know when i got my old cable i was just going to use my old 1.x autotap until i had a chance to miss with the new one.
NO! you cant 2.0 hardware will not work with the old versions. i have not tested the dos version but i would think the same rules

it's an $75 upgrade for 1.0 owners, i dont think it's a great deal because autotap should have loged faster in the 1st place.

if you want the added speed go for it, there are alot improvments to the 2.0 software also.
