More fuel...is it better??

More fuel...is it better?? I heard that it is not a good idea to race the Z06 with ¼ thank or less, because at this stage the PCM starts “adjusting” probably to stretch the mileage or something. Is there any truth to this….???

I wouldn't be concerned at 1/4 tank, because everybody that I know races with 1/4 tank. You might want to concern yourself with the Check Gauges Light (low on gas). I wouldn't be surprised if fuel economy is bumbed with this light on. Good question though.

I have run a half of a tank and had a little better time. Most of my loss in time is caused from my 60 times.
I don’t know if the computer changes the a/f ratio when the tank gets low. I would say it does not.
