what should my car idle at.?

What do most of your cars idle at I beleive mine is kinda high around 1000 on cold starts and 800 tom 900 on normal driving temps. Thanks for your help in advance

Stock idle points are 800rpm M6 and 550 Drive/650 Park for a A4. These are warm temps.

BTW: if your reading your idle with the tach its gonna be 200 high

so 1000 on your tach is 800 on atap <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

my stock idle was 650 in my A4, now its 875 with cam <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Thanks alot you guys I was kinda worried about a high idle. I guess its normal. I sure do need to get atap.
