4 degrees KR, help!

Default 4 degrees KR, help!

It's also in the internal and bolt on sections...
I wasn't running as well at Atco as I had at Maple Grove last month. Better conditions, faster track. Best of 12.64 at 112.xx w/ a 13.01 and a few other high 12's thrown in.

Just replayed my a tap files: 3-4 deg KR from 3k-6300 rpm.

Here are the variables:

Used Amoco 93 for the first time that evening.

Had ported MAF ends, they gave me KR, so I went back to stock de screened a few months ago.

Lost my rubber bumper thingy to keep the y pipe from banging the floor. This happens at the end of my burnout and sometime when upshifting.

I'm going to address the y pipe banging, but do I need a PCM reset after the MAF end swap? I've got 1-2000 miles on it since.

Thats alot of KR what was the temp when you ran.

Started out in the 80's, then down to mid 60's I'm guessing.

First thing to do is try some race gas (unleaded) and see if the KR doesn't go away. You should also check your stock O2's - if they get much below 0.800-0.850 you *may* get getting too lean.

Yeah, I checked O2's and they are in the .910-.960 range, lterm is 0, so the car isn't sensing a lean condition. I took some serpentine belt and wound it around where it seemed to bang before. I guess we'll see.

I'm hoping to meet up w/ a new Cobra at Maple Grove next Fri night that's at 430 to the rear wheels. He didn't run much better than me w/ the KR (12.39), so we'll see.
