Default Have a wierd problem and nobody knows the solution...Need Help!!

Ok I put Hooker Longtubes on my car and a Cam (222/226 566/569 114) and 2 months later after running the headers open I go to have the True Dual setup with X-pipe put on and to have LS1 Edit done. I get the car back from having both things done and as soon as I take it out and get on it the car starts studdering almost feels like it wont shift and tacking out but it is in the middle of the rpm's right after I get on it and won't quit doing the studdering until I get off of it. Right now I have asked a couple of shops around me and one of the owners has no idea (shop I got LS1 Edit done at) and another very respectable shop owner said I need to get a Torque Converter because of the cam.

What is the problem with my car what would make it do this?

Is your A/F mixture ok ?. I had similar type problems with hesitation/shudder/surging after header install. I started noticing on my A/F gauge how slow the lights (finally got some use out of the light show) were shifting although I got no SES light. With Autotap I could see an O2 sensor problem by the way the LTRIMs kept going super lean and then rich. I pulled the O2 sensors and they were completely black. I took out my SVO 30# injectors for the stock ones (which I think were leaking) put in new O2 sensors (tried "torching" the old ones but had no luck getting them to switch properly again) and my smooth throttle response came back as well as my A/F and LTRIMS back close to 0.

Aah wait a minute, cam and long tubes for 2 months & no problems. Then you take it for exhaust and tuning and it runs like crap? I would think back to when & were this problem started . Is it possible the tuning/ pcm got F***ed -up? Did anyone try to reflash your pcm? That shop should be able to come up with some answers or else I would be pissed! <img border="0" alt="[guns]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" />

Have you checked the basics first?
