Default LS1Edit vs EFILive vs AutoTap

I have AutoTap. I know that AutoTap and EFILive only mainly do logging while LS1Edit does editing. Does LS1Edit do any logging? Does it read the sensor data like AutoTap or EFILive so that you can assess your engines status and performance? Or do you need to have LS1Edit plus AutoTap or EFIEdit?

Can anybody comment on AutoTap versus EFILive? From what I gather EFILive focuses on EFI only, does the A/F and other math for you and logs that data like AutoTap. There is some editing that can be done for testing purposes but those edits don't stay once you disconnect? Is that right?

When you determine, with a diagnostic scanner, what changes need to be made, LS1 Edit can make those changes. You go out for a ride and log data, and then you can go inside, and sit at your desk, and analyze the data and make the necessary changes within LS1 Edit.

I use EASE, but EFLive allows you to apply some changes, in a live situation, and see what happens, but if you wanted to permanently apply those changes you'd need LS1 Edit.

The logging and charts/dash features in EFILive blow Autotap out of the water. I would definitely recommend EFI Live over Autotap. As far as the bi-directional controls, they only stay while computer is hooked up, and they are mainly for diagnostic use, not tuning.

Speed Demon just got in a shipment of EFI Live setup's with the ver 2 cable, and so I picked one up to test out --it is 1000x the software that autotap is. pair it with the ver2 cable (so you can actually get decent update speeds) and it's finally what I consider a viable package. EFI Live no question.
