Possible to have ~0 KR

Possible to have ~0 KR Prior reading with AutoTap with SLP cam and headers would show some KR. But now with a TR224 cam, ASP underdrive pulley, and LS6 intake I am getting almost no KR or logging with AutoTap. I get an occasional 1.5 - 3 KR at low RPM. No KR ever at WOT.
Can this be right? Or is it possible I did something to the KR sensors on the LS6 intake install? If so what should I look for?

Re: Possible to have ~0 KR If you are getting KR in the upper RPM odds are that you will be able to hear it. It will sound like marbles rolling around in your engine.
There are a lot of things that will get rid of your KR. It is a very finicky thing.
Be glad your not in the same boat as most of us who can't get rid of it in the upper rpm.

Re: Possible to have ~0 KR This may seem extreme, but what I would do is inspect my KS system, especially for the harness being pinched under the LS6 intake (there's less clearance under the LS6 intake than the stock one), then I would do the GM TSB fix for preventing water getting into the knock sensors; also, I would be sure to remove the foam pieces under the intake (they wick water and sit on top of the knock sensors), and what I did was sand off some of the criss-crossed plastic on the bottom of the intake (for a little extra clearance for your KS wire). I thought I had was that maybe your KS wire is just slightly pinched. I've learned the hard way that you have to be very careful installing an LS6 intake because of possible KS problems and resulting knock retard. You may have to do this in the future anyway. Just my opinion.
